ABOUT THIS COURSE

Class Description

Over two transformative days, step inside the world where fashion week creativity meets real salon profitability.

Art & Commerce is an intensive masterclass led by Pablo Kuemin — award-winning hairstylist, wig artist, and international educator with 17+ years working across Paris Fashion Week, Vogue editorials, luxury fashion houses, film, and high-end salon environments.

This experience is designed for ambitious stylists who want more than just new techniques. It’s built to change how you see hair, communicate with clients, and position yourself in the market.

Day One is immersive. You’ll watch Pablo break down the creative process behind fashion and editorial work — how a brief becomes a look, how references turn into decisions, and how instinct and precision operate under pressure. You’ll understand the thinking that separates top-level session stylists from standard salon work.

Day Two is hands-on application. You’ll work through backstage-inspired techniques adapted for real salon environments. Every movement, finishing detail, and styling decision is refined so you can immediately bring fashion-level thinking into commercial appointments.

This masterclass bridges the gap that most education ignores: how to connect artistic creativity with consistent commercial success.

What You’ll Learn:

  • The editorial eye — seeing hair through a fashion lens

  • Translating mood boards and trends into wearable salon looks

  • Backstage speed and precision techniques adapted for the chair

  • Texture creation: movement, separation, dimension that lasts

  • Finishing techniques that increase perceived value

  • Consultation as creative direction — leading instead of following

  • Client psychology and exclusivity positioning

  • How fashion week thinking accelerates your technical growth

  • Transforming “service provider” into “creative professional

What People Say

★★★★★“I recently attended Pablo Kuemin’s Art & Commerce class in Melbourne and honestly walked away feeling so inspired. The way Pablo balances creativity with real-world, commercially relevant hair is incredibly refreshing. The education was thoughtful, elevated, and full of small details that completely shift the way you approach hair, imagery, and overall brand direction. It wasn’t just about technique — it was about intention, taste level, and creating work that actually feels modern. Highly recommend for any stylist wanting to refine their eye and push their work further!!”Kelly Manu
★★★★★“Pablo teaches in a way that feels generous — hands in the work, eyes on the detail, always sharing the small refinements that change everything. The kind of techniques that quietly follow you back into the salon and become part of your own language behind the chair. No gatekeeping. No ego. Just years of artistry translated into real, tactile education. I left inspired, creatively full, and looking at hair differently.”Sue Black
