While many tutorials show the basics, true mastery requires correct technique, proper tools, and expert guidance.This two-day intensive training is designed to take you from zero ventilation experience to confidently tying fundamental knots and constructing a natural wig hairline.

Day One — Foundations & Guided Practice

The first day focuses on understanding the fundamentals of ventilation:

• Tools and workstation setup
• Lace types and hair preparation
• Ventilation patterns
• Ergonomics and technique
• Live demonstration of essential knotting methods

Students will then complete guided hands-on practice with direct supervision and correction.

Day Two — Practical Wig Construction

The second day is fully practical.Each student will work one-on-one with Merria Dearman to apply the techniques learned on Day One, building a customized wig hairline on their own wig.By the end of the class, you will have completed a ventilated wig with a custom hairline built by your own hands.
